PLEASE READ! Don’t be fooled! There are two 2018 Jeeps. The Jk and the Jl. The JL (This Jeep) is a completely different model in every way. It’s the first totally redesigned Wrangler in a decade. This is the highest optioned wrangler on Turo. This Unlimited Sahara 4 x 4, has practically every option available. Look at the pics and compare. This is the V6 with 300 HPR, Upgraded alpine stereo subwoofer, reverse camera Freedom top takes 1 minute to remove and can easily be done by 1 person. It’s like having an instant convertible. Some of the amazing options below 1) LED daytime running lights Led Headlamps,Fog Lamps, LED tail lamps 2) upgraded alpine radio with alpine subwoofer 3- huge 8.4 inch display with GPS navigation and APPLE PLAY!!! 4- leather seats 5- The most important feature in my opinion the jeep active safety group which includes rear park assist system blind spot monitor and cross paths detection. The blind spot monitor is a must. 6-Bluetooth,Sirius XM and upgraded sound system. Most Jeeps so not have this. 7- eight speed automatic transmission 8- Three piece hardtop rear window wiper washer push start system and too many other options to list This jeep is loaded it’s not the typical jeep you will find on Turo that’s stripped and doesn’t even have Bluetooth. This is the biggest engine they offer V6 with the 8 speed automatic. Full navigation. Most Jeeps do not have this. Full leather interior Every safety feature. An upgraded sound system that needs to be heard to believe. You will not find this in 99 percent of the Jeeps available. A safety package that I spent over $5000 on just to make sure it had Lane change warning, cross traffic alert a wonderful backup cameras and other terrific features. Not for me, but for you, the people renting it. I think lane change warning, reverse cameras and sensors are the single most important features on an unfamiliar car and it’s why I make sure all my cars have them. I do not think there is another Jeep in LA on TURO with them. No off reading under any circumstances. I will provide you the password if you select this extra for unlimited use. $25/trip1 available F.A.Q.How do you remove the Jeep Wrangler's Freedom Panel Roof System? There is a removable section on the Jeep Wrangler's hard top known as the "Freedom Panel" system. These panels can be easily removed from the Jeep and do not require any special tools to do so. While sitting in the driver or passenger seat, look up and locate the black L shaped latches. These latches rotate out of the way and are used to secure the panels to the existing roof at the corners. Once those latches are rotated out of the way, you will want to locate the screw locks in the middle of the hard top. Follow the roll cage bar and locate the two circular knobs, these are threaded bolts that must be undone to remove the Freedom Panels. Unscrew those bolts until they are removed from the top and set them aside. Finally there are two clamps on the front of the Freedom Panels that secure them to the front windshield. Simply pull to undo the clamps. The roof panels can now be lifted up and off of the Jeep. If you have been provided with the roof panel storage bag, please put the panels in the bag and place them in the rear of the Jeep, along with the two threaded bolts that were removed. Installation is the reverse of removal. Place the panels back on the vehicle, ensuring the two panels overlap correctly. Rotate the black L shaped latches so the panels are clamped down to the hard top. Install the threaded bolts and rotate the bolts until they are snug. Do not over tighten! Finally clamp the front of the roof panels back to the windshield. Push up on the panels and ensure they are in position before operating the Jeep again. Please note, you are responsible for any weather damage that may occur from having the panels off, or the roof system open. Please make sure you do not have the Freedom Panels off during inclement weather. Use extreme care when lifting the panels off of the Jeep as they could become damaged, or scratch the vehicles roof during removal and installation. Under no circumstances are you allowed to completely remove the Jeep Hard Top without prior owner approval.
